Alessi Table lamp Metal Metal. Dimensions: Ø 21 x H 28.5 cm. This LED table lamp equipped with a sensitive dimmer on its base extends the Bark collection, designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. These designers, of Belgian origin, chose their home, Casa Boucquillon in Tuscany, as a place of experimentation, meditation and work, where they live in symbiosis with nature. As its name suggests, Bark evokes the bark of trees. The lampshade is made of perforated steel: the cutting recalls knots in wood, the concave, elongated shape suggests the structure of a trunk. The result is a highly poetic but at the same time functional object. The multiple perforations filter the light, creating a nice play of shadows, as vegetation would do in nature. Ultra-chic, this light is an outstanding decorative element. The internal opaline diffuser (thermoplastic resin) ensures excellent light distribution, without glare.
