Maaoui, the Bark collection was launched in 2015. Its authors drew inspiration
from their home, the Boucquillon House, a place for experimentation, meditation
and work where you live in harmony with nature. The finely-cut steel evokes the
bark of the trees which surround their house. The result is a highly poetic
collection. Very chic, this beautiful object fits into the kitchen space or on a
table as a primary decorative element. This cafetière with plunger lets you
enjoy all the aromas of homemade coffee thanks to the plunger technique. This
kind of coffee maker is used by tasting professionals during international
competitions as it allows you to obtain a drink with a powerful and preserved
aroma. In addition, it’s quick and easy to use. Put the ground coffee
directly in the hot water, leave to brew then operate the plunger: it traps the
leaves or the coffee and stops the brewing! This coffee maker is ideal for those
who love coffee prepared via brewing; a long coffee but with an intense aroma.
This coffee maker is perfect for preparing all kinds of drinks that you brew:

maker can be washed separately with lukewarm running water. The designer, Michel
Boucquillon: „The perforated steel structure allows the colour of the beverage
(coffee, tea, herbal tea) to be seen, which intensifies as the brewing time
extends. In the middle of the sky-scrappers of our metropolises, a simple action
like that of lowering the plunger of your coffee pot yourself becomes a
comforting ritual which brings us back the natural and relaxed side of
things“.
