As usual, his work starts from forms from the classical tradition, which are reworked using Kartell's most innovative manufacturing techniques. Starck's explo­ration then continues with the most romantic source of light: the candle, with its soft, warm reflections. GOODNIGHT revisits the concept and primordial shape of the candle by transforming it into a highly technological object. The Goodnight wall light consists of a recycled ABS support. The long, white diffuser tube that evokes a candle is made of PMMA. The base is available in different colours to suit your decorative requirements. Philippe Starck: Candle light was the most beautiful, the most natural, you could even say it was the first beacon of our civilisation. And it still is.
