Alessi Basket Black Metal. Dimensions: Ø 29 x H 9 cm. London designer Jasper Morrison pushes the working drawing to the extreme with this sublime steel basket. Adorned with an embossed decorative pattern, it is both chic and delicate. These decorations are a reinterpretation of the ancient, refined Etruscan granulation silverware technique, seen from a more industrial perspective. Achieved by means of a cold steel stamping process, the rich interplay with light creates a sort of luminous skin, capable of exalting both complex shapes and clean, neutral lines. This basket can be used to set an attractive table or as a fruit bowl, basket or trinket bowl.
