The L’Âme de Christofle cutlery collection was created by Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet in 2014. Designed with elegance and a sense of extreme sobriety, his steel cutlery brings out the best in the material. It reveals the trace of the human hand through several details, discreet but essential, such as the tapered cut of a handle or the sharp edge of a knife. Eugeni Quitllet explains: „I tried to express Christofle’s know-how and DNA in a single shape. I wanted this steel blade to reflect the past of this great Design House while projecting itself into the future.“ Almost 10 years after its launch, the best-selling collection is being updated with new colours. These new colours feature a polished gloss finish, just like the original steel item.
