Vibia Floor lamp Black Metal. Dimensions: Height: min. 300 cm / max. 355 cm – Depth: min. 70 cm / max. 250 cm – Base: Ø 40 x H 40 cm – Lampshade: Ø 40 cm – Cable: L 250 cm. Deconstructed grace. Designed by the famous Israeli designer Arik Levy, North is an XXL floor lamp with an extremely light feel. The item was created by deconstructing the light fixture’s various parts. On disassembling its various components – LED source, diffuser, column and base – Arik Levy was able to create a floating light fixture. A sculptural assembly of different elements to create a whole. The light sources and base are separated in space. The traditional idea of positioning the diffuser as close to the base as possible is abandoned in favour of a mobile light fixture that casts a fine, gentle and indirect light exactly where you want it. Two long carbon fibre columns ending in lampshades rise up from the base at different angles, allowing you to shed light where you want. You can adjust the angle at which the columns are positioned. You can change the depth and height of the floor lamp by changing the incline of the columns. You can also adjust the height of each lampshade, simply lengthen or shorten the cable from which they are suspended. Each part fulfils a specific function: the columns’ carbon fibre is both light and strong; the LED technology of the light source is efficient; and the steel base secures the lamp to the floor. There is a dimmer on the base.
