filed in 1967, Sammode’s tube lamp has become a classic of French industrial

lamp – a transparent tube mounted in a sealed steel structure – which uses
a sophisticated technique. Popular among professionals for its performance and
robustness, the Sammode tube lamp quickly became cult object. Sammode lights are
used in many prestigious buildings such as the National Library of France in
Paris, the Ray and Maria Stata Center designed by Franck Gehry in Cambridge
(United States) or the Mama Shelter Hotel in Paris, decorated by Philippe

are manufactured, assembled and packaged at its Châtillon-sur-Saône plant in

can be used as a wall or ceiling light or as a pendant (different types of
fixings are included). Waterproof (IP68), it can be used inside, outside and in

bathroom … The Purcell lamp consists of a transparent polycarbonate tube that
reveals its internal reflector made up of a multitude of tinted aluminium
strips. These metal strips soften the light and tinge it with beautiful silver,
