Sarrià basket by Alessi. Clotet, who is especially active in architecture but who has also made a number of interesting designs of objects, was fascinated by the playful crumpling of a tray in silver paper and reproduced the effect in a successful mini-series of trays and baskets, in which the crumpled edge is achieved using a complex technique of cold-pressing in a single operation. Available in milky white, super black or stainless steel mirror polished.
