Verpan Bar stool Grey Textile. Dimensions: L 54 x Depth 51.5 x H 110 cm – Seat: H 75 x Ø 46 cm. Enter the design legend with the reissue of the “Series 430”, a collection of amazingly modern seats created in 1967 by Danish designer Verner Panton (1926–1998). Even though most of the maestro's works have acquired iconic status, the design company behind his creations, Verpan, and his widow, Marianne Panton, now offer a seat that’s remained relatively unknown to the general public. When Verner Panton decided to create the Series 430 bar stool, he wanted it to be comfortable to use as a footrest, but also very comfortable as a seat. He created four thin feet fixed on the outer edge of the seat so that the silhouette was light, almost floating. The secret behind the amazing comfort offered by this stool is under the seat with its elastic straps that stretch and relax under the weight of the body, making it soft and pleasant to sit on. Thick padding enhances this feeling of comfort. An haute couture feel for this version dressed in beautiful fabric created by designer Nanna Ditzel. The famous “Series 430” is decked out with exclusive fabrics created specially by renowned designers in collaboration with Kvadrat, the Danish reference for high-end textiles.
