The work of this young Australian designer is based around the notion of movement, both visual and physical. Trinity is a basket designed from a simple geometric shape which grows, like a whirlwind, until it forms an elegant concentric structure. This sinuous and dynamic spiral is inspired by the shell of the Nautilus mollusc. The creator therefore wants to offer the look of a natural element while using modern industrial manufacturing processes. The shape of Trinity is obtained via a laser perforation process on a fine steel sheet which is then mechanically shaped.
