Gubi Round table Black Metal/Stone. Dimensions: Ø 80 x H 72 cm. A 1930s-inspired contemporary piece, the TS collection (short for ‘The Standard’) was originally created to furnish the building of the same name located in Copenhagen. Built in 1937, this building is a perfect example of Art Deco architecture. The TS Column round table is in keeping with this collection; it was designed for Maison du Danemark’s Flora Danica restaurant in Paris. It consists of a stunning Nero Marquina marble tabletop supported by a central base in lacquered metal. The base consists of four tubular legs linked together by smaller, horizontal ones. It features decidedly geometric and graphic lines. The modernity of the base contrasts wonderfully with the refined, classic style of the marble top. This understated, elegant table integrates seamlessly into both contemporary and traditional interiors. An exceptional piece! The Gamfratesi studio was created by Danish designer Stine Gam and Italian designer Enrico Fratesi. Their work combines different influences, from classic Italian Design to Scandinavian traditions. MAINTENANCE. Marble is a delicate stone, sensitive to stains and requires special care. Clean stains immediately with soapy water, then wipe with a dry cloth. Never use acid or chemical products.
