&tradition Pendant White/Gold Metal. Dimensions: Ø 22 cm x H 23 cm – Cable: L 300 cm max.. A must-have design classic! Danish architect Jørn Oberg Utzon gained fame in 1957 by designing the Sydney Opera House. This monument, with its shell form that is so characteristic, has become the symbol of Australia all over the world. At the end of the 40s, he created Tivoli: a stunning aluminium pendant that was very innovative for the period. The simple, architectural forms are superimposed, creating wonderful shapes. The white / brass colour combination will never go out of fashion. Created over 50 years ago, Tivoli is surprising in its modernity. In 2003, Jorn Oberg received the accolade of Member of the Order of Australia, was given the Keys to the city of Sydney, the most prestigious award in the country, and finally nominated for the American Pritzker prize. In 2007, his life's work (the Sydney Opera House) joined the very exclusive club of UNESCO world heritage sites.
