This CUISINOX enamelled cast iron casserole is ideal for cooking at lower temperatures. In addition to the fact that the cast iron retains the heat very well, the heat is also distributed very evenly over the entire pan, which ensures that the food is cooked evenly. This makes cooking at higher temperatures unnecessary and is energy efficient. The entire pan is provided with a basic enamel layer, whereby the outside of the pan is enamelled extra strong and smooth, which ensures that the beautiful colour gradient on the pan remains intact. This also prevents the pan from scratching your halogen, ceramic or induction hob. Thanks to the stainless steel knob on the lid, the pan can also be placed in the oven at up to 200℃. The lid of the pan has „studs“ on the inside that ensure that the food in the pan is evenly moistened. Note: The handles heat up during cooking, so potholders or oven gloves are recommended when using this pan.
