This ethereal lamp, almost invisible, transforms and reveals itself once the light is switched on! The Discovery wall lamp includes a large flat disk in transparent PMMA (Ø 70 cm), circled with a profiled aluminium frame, extremely fine and light. LED strips inside the aluminium ring project their light into the transparent central disk, and its surface lights up evenly. Once lit, the light takes up the middle section that was previously transparent. The inside of the lamp appears as if by magic, and metamorphoses from non-existent to this full and regular surface of light. This extraordinary result is obtained thanks to micro-incisions on the transparent disk that are almost invisible to the naked eye when the lamp is switched off. Their geometry and placement have been carefully calculated to obtain a constant emission, as well as a precise and timely light aura, according to a flow balance in relation to the emitting surface, guaranteeing perfect visual comfort.
