Marimekko Apron Green Textile. Dimensions: 84 × 85 cm (adjustable). When designing the Elokuun pattern, young Finnish illustrator Maija Louekari found inspiration in her wildflower garden. The designer was fascinated by the changing seasons in the north – new beginnings and abundantly growing vegetation which grows back year after year. This pattern is a tribute to greenery, freedom and warm breezes. Cheerful, chic and graphic, the Marimekko textile collection brings your interior to life! This cotton apron has a front pocket and an adjustable neck strap. Created in 1951, Marimekko is a state of mind, a way of life based on creativity, freedom of spirit and inventiveness. Its notoriety dates back to 1960, the year in which Jackie Kennedy made several public appearances in dresses designed by Marimekko.
