Verpan Stool Yellow Textile. Dimensions: Ø 45 x H 46 cm. Enter the design legend with the reissue of the “Series 430”, an amazingly modern seating collection created in 1967 by Danish designer Verner Panton (1926–1998). Although most of the maestro's works have acquired iconic status, the design company for his creations, Verpan, and his widow, Marianne Panton, offer us a seat that’s remained relatively unknown to the general public. When Verner Panton decided to create the Series 430 stool, he wanted it to be comfortable to use as a footrest, but also very comfortable as a seat. In addition, he wanted it to be lightweight so it could be moved easily from one room to another. He designed four thin legs fixed to the outer edge of the seat to make the silhouette very light, as if floating. The secret to the great comfort offered by this stool is under the seat with its elastic straps that stretch and extend under the weight of the body, making it very flexible and comfortable. The thick padding further adds to its comfort. An “haute couture” feel for this refined version covered in a superb velvet created by the designer Raf Simons, former artistic director with Dior. The famous “Series 430” is covered with exclusive fabrics, specially created by renowned designers in collaboration with Kvadrat, the Danish reference for high-end textiles.
