Contemporary braiding… Created by German designer Sebastian Herkner, the Carousel armchair collection revisits braiding in a more current, chic spirit. These armchairs combine a sleek aluminium structure with a synthetic fibre backrest braided in different ways. The Carousel collection establishes a harmonious dialogue between decorative braiding with a warm look and contemporary metal. The armrests form an aerial, graphic, enveloping frame which affirms the collection’s i­dentity. In this version of the Carousel armchair, the square, wide braiding is ultra-graphic. This square grid really shows off the armchair’s generous silhouette. Suitable for outdoor use, the Carousel armchair will just as easily find its place around a table as in a lounge area. Carousel is a versatile product able to express different styles and interpret the space it occupies in a unique way without altering its chromatic or aesthetic balance.
