Our polenta boards are crafted from alder wood. They are not varnished but simply oiled, and can be re-oiled whenever they start to fade after several washes. They are not dishwasher safe! The same applies to the knife! The plate is slightly concave, ensuring that even if the polenta is a bit soft, it won't spill over the edges. Additionally, the plate features two handles for easy handling.
